Associazione Aura hosts the Women at School program:
A program of Italian foreign language classes for migrant and refugee women.
ABOUT
Women at School is organised by volunteers who give foreign language classes to women aged 30 to 50 from Morocco, Senegal, Madagascar, Pakistan, Romania, Moldavia and South American countries.

CHILDCARE
The language classes are given once a week, on Wednesdays morning. The student count on the support of volunteers who provide child-care and other children-related activities so women can attend the language courses fully and focus on themselves.
NEEDS MEET OPPORTUNITIES
Within the course, women learn about day-to-day communication targeted at their needs. In 2023, with the Women at School program, the students had the opportunity to attend IT classes where they learned how to use Google services, email features and how to access basic services such as documentation.
Associazione Aura also carries out awareness-raising activities for civil society and partners on the issue of trafficking of women for purposes of prostitution and other forms of sexual exploitation.
